The Data Protection Board established under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 shall function as a “Digital Office”, serving as a secure and comprehensive end-to-end digital complaint management system. This framework eliminates the need for the physical presence of individuals during proceedings. The platform helps in streamlining the activities of the Digital Office more efficiently, enabling the Board to oversee regulatory compliance, enforce data protection laws, and adjudicate complaints. It also empowers individuals to exercise their statutory rights under the Act.
